Calvin’s Mission Ministry Team thanks those that in the last few months donated eyeglasses. These eyeglasses were donated to the Lions Club. Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a common belief – to serve the community.
Imagine if you could help a child to read. An adult succeed in a job. A senior maintain her independence. Everyday, the recycled eyeglasses do this and more.
The bin to donate eyeglasses is located in Fellowship Hall at the Mission Team display table. If you have eyeglasses you no longer need, those glasses can change someone’s life. Accepted are prescription and reading glasses, sunglasses and plastic and metal frames. Children’s eyeglasses are especially needed.
